If I alone testify about Myself, My testimony is not true (John 5:31 NASB95). But someone else is also testifying about me, and I assure you that everything he says about me is true (John 5:32 NLT).

To paraphrase the words of Jesus (John 5:31-32), if I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is a Marriage Ministry Reverend and two independent Book Reviewers who honour me.

My book, Bible Wisdom to Improve Relationships, has been independently evaluated by a Reverend involved in Marriage Ministry and two professional Book Reviewers, who determined that my book contained an excellent message for readers interested in improving their relationships. They reviewed my book based on the value of the message for relationships, the ease of comprehension of the message, and my technical writing style (grammar, etc.).

The Reverend, a professional non-religious book reviewer, and a professional Hindu book reviewer each told me that my book was very useful and easy to comprehend. The non-religious book reviewer commented that my technical writing style was unusual, but said that my unusual writing style did not detract from the value of the book’s message or the ease of comprehension.

The Reverend book reviewer is Canadian. The Hindu book reviewer is from India. The message of my book successfully crosses both national and religious borders. Neither the non-religious nor the Hindu book reviewers were offended by my Christian-based writing, and both saw value in my book’s message.

I wrote STAR Personality Styles to be studied as one book; however, because of the amount of information included, the book became too large for the most common 6×9 Paperback-Size, and two self-publishers highly recommended splitting the book into two volumes. Read both volumes to get the full benefit.

The personality style principles shared in STAR Personality Styles are simple enough for a teenager to master; yet they are valuable enough that experts have called this book an excellent resource for any relationship.

Volume 1

If you have a solid comprehension of DISC, then you already comprehend STAR. I prefer the acronym STAR over DISC because, first, STAR implies something special to be achieved, and second, by reversing the letters, we can examine the negative side of personality styles.

Comprehending both the strengths and weaknesses of the four STAR personality styles of Support, Technical, Action, and Relationship is essential for producing a peaceful and enjoyable life. When we recognize our positive traits, we can use them to intentionally build strong relationships, achieve our goals, and respond confidently to challenges. At the same time, when we acknowledge our negative traits, such as impatience, avoidance, over-sensitivity, or rigidity, we can manage reactions before disagreements escalate into conflict or stress.

The task-oriented STAR Personality Styles, who easily comprehend rules and procedures, have difficulty relating to people and emotions. However, anyone can learn empathy by applying scientific observation to their interactions. This balanced comprehension helps deepen empathy toward others with different styles and also encourages personal growth, healthier communication, and wiser decision-making, all of which contribute to greater harmony, fulfillment, and lasting peace in everyday relationships in families, communities, and nations.

Jesus is our Role Model and presented perfect competence in each of the four STAR Personality Styles: Support, Technical, Action, and Relationship.

Volume 2

Tools such as communication skills, emotional regulation techniques, and problem-solving methods equip everyone with practical ways to navigate disagreements to avoid conflicts, build relationships, and pursue their life goals effectively. Rules provide structure, boundaries, and ethical guidance that help maintain order, fairness, and respect within relationships in families, communities, and nations.

When we understand how to use the right tools within the framework of healthy rules, we create balance, thereby gaining the flexibility to adapt while maintaining the discipline to act responsibly. This harmony between skill (tools) and structure (rules) reduces conflict, builds trust, and fosters stability, ultimately contributing to a more peaceful, fulfilling, and enjoyable life.
