Short Bio
In my younger years, I served the needs of many companies on a Contract-for-hire basis. I worked with Large Companies and Small Companies. I worked with CEOs and Line-Labourers. I worked with Muslims, Jews, Christians, Buddhists, Agnostics, and Atheists. I worked with men and women, heterosexuals and homosexuals. I worked with Africans, Americans, Brazilians, Britons, Canadians, Chinese, Indians, Italians, Japanese, Mexicans, Romanians, and people from several other countries. I worked with Pessimists and Optimists. I have had long conversations with Pastors, Ministers, Priests, Deacons, Rabbis, Shamans, Monks, and Yogis.
The information I share in the books Bible Wisdom to Improve Relationships and STAR Personality Styles applies to each of these relationships.
As a Bible Teacher and Christian Author, I have shared information about the four STAR Personality Styles with individuals, couples, and small groups. I led special weekend spiritual retreats with close to four hundred people from many areas across Ontario and Quebec. “STAR Personality Styles” is based on principles from the Holy Bible, but don’t let the source of the information turn you away. Almost everyone with whom I have shared the information directly (one-on-one, couples, or small groups) has reported back that they have benefited from the information contained in this book.
Why I wrote Bible Wisdom to Improve Relationships
The Fruits of the Spirit, as described in Galatians 5:22-26, are the essential ingredients for every good relationship. Holy Spirit freely gives every believer the Fruits of the Spirit in order to share the love described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. Prayer and reading the Holy Bible are the wells where we can go to replenish our supply of the Fruits of the Spirit.
Relationship challenges occur when our supply of God’s Love and Grace in our wells is depleted and running low. When your well is full of God’s Love and Grace, it is easy to shift from reacting based on worldly feelings to responding based on godly emotions. When you react based on worldly feelings, your focus is on your negative circumstances, and your negative circumstances grow. When you respond based on godly emotions, your focus is on your positive perspective, and your positive perspective grows. Your focus fills your well with either negative circumstances or a positive perspective.
The Jefferson Bible demonstrates that it is possible to read and follow the moral teachings of Jesus even if you do not accept the divinity of Jesus. The Jefferson Bible was once required reading for government officials for many years. Imagine a world where every boy and girl were taught the same principles found in the Jefferson Bible, which highlights Jesus’ morality without his divinity, and grew into moral leaders in communities, nations, and governments. I am a Christian Bible Teacher, but I have written this book, Bible Wisdom to Improve Relationships, in a manner that has been accepted by Hindu, Jewish, and other non-Christian readers. I use the term Personality Styles rather than the more common term Personality Profiles because “Profile” seems to compartmentalize you into a fixed and unchanging category or classification. Just as many musicians can play several different styles of music, it is possible for everyone to slip into an appropriate Personality Style to promote calm and harmonious Communication Styles and as a tool for Conflict Resolution. Everyone can master each Personality Style as a part of their development in Personal Growth and Self-Esteem, and then use the appropriate Personality Style for any challenging situation.
I was Born-Again and have been reading the Holy Bible since I was 7, so I have learned how to apply biblical principles in my daily life. Many people (both Christian and non-Christian) come to me (individually and as couples) to discuss their life and relationship challenges and to ask me to find and explain Wisdom (Scripture) from the Holy Bible.
The Holy Bible is our User Manual for this journey that we call Life. The Holy Bible is the best resource for Personal Development, Communication Skills, Relationship Skills, and almost every other aspect of life. The Holy Bible also contains many Rules that can set the groundwork for Marriage Quality and Satisfaction. There is no Cure for Death, but your life can be very fulfilling and satisfying if you know how to navigate your Relationship with Self, Wife, Husband, Girlfriend, Boyfriend, Boss, Subordinate, Co-Worker, Government Agencies and Administrators, etc.
Bible Wisdom to Improve Relationships cannot replace the Holy Bible, Holy Spirit, or a good Psychotherapist as resources for navigating through conflicts or resolving challenging relationships; however, I recommend reading Bible Wisdom to Improve Relationships (Volumes 1 & 2) to build and maintain healthy marriages, as preparation before Marriage, and support during Marital Counselling. Bible Wisdom to Improve Relationships can also help you to comprehend and identify Co-Dependency or Co-Dependent Relationships.
As an Independent Technical Consultant (as with any Consulting or Workplace Relationship), it is very important that I quickly establish a great working relationship with my Client Team (Managers, Technical Staff, and Users). I have used the information in STAR Personality Styles to deal with All Workplace Relationships. As an Independent Technical Consultant, I needed to distinguish the individuals with RATS Personality Styles from the individuals with STAR Personality Styles in order to determine which Workplace Relationships required special attention. Individuals with RATS Personality Styles always require special attention to avoid non-value-added and counter-productive conflicts. If you recognize the STAR or RATS Personality Style of the people that you work with, you can adapt your Communication Style to reflect the Personality Style of the individual that you are speaking with and thereby avoid miscommunication and conflicts due to message delivery.
When it comes to relationships, there is no one-size-fits-all. Like clothing styles, relationships come in many different sizes, colours, and preferences. Unlike clothing styles and fashions, relationships (and their associated challenges) have been an integral part of Self-Love, Sociology, Psychology, Society, Community, etc. Bible Wisdom to Improve Relationships can even improve company profits by avoiding time-consuming, non-value-added and counter-productive workplace conflicts.
I have shared my knowledge of STAR Personality Styles with many individuals (on a one-to-one basis), couples, and small groups. Most of the feedback has been positive, improving relationships and satisfying relationship needs by helping individuals better understand themselves and others. Many people who have benefited from the information have suggested that I record the information in a book to share the information more easily, more efficiently, and more quickly with more people.
